   Well the original actor, Richard Harris, portrayed Dumbledore in the first two movies. Unfortunately he died (he was very old…) so Michael Gambon replaced him. These two actors do seem to act a little differently as well as look a little differently, if that may be what you’re referring to. However, it may just be that time has passed and costumes progress just as characters do.
