How could S.Trelawney have know that Snape was evesdropping when she was in the middle of her prophecy trance?

   that’s what snapped her out of the prophecy. that’s what it says in the book. if you read it, she repeats the prophecy over and over. snape must have just heard a little bit of it before he was discovered which in turn, snapped her out of her trance.

   the dude caught snape as the prophesy was ending and came in with him after trelawney snaped out of her trance.

   Professor Trelawney doesn’t have any recollection of Snape. But Snape remembers her and can tell Voldemort who actually made that prophecy about him and Harry Potter since the prophecy in the Department of Mysterious has been destroy. So since Voldemort will do his best to drag this out important information out of her using powerful charms and spell and probably kill her. She is force to live at Hogsworth for her own protection though really she is not a great teacher. Dumbledore doesn’t want Voldemort getting ahold of the prophecy at any price so if Dumbledore has to keep Trelawney at the school he must.

   Perhaps it was another fake prophecy, but one eveyone believed to be real. That way she would not have been in a real trance!
