JK Rowling was sued for stealing ideas form other authors. Frankly speaking, this particular lawsuit seems to be very ridiculous and as to me everyone is always trying to get at least a small piece of this woman’s fortune and talent.

J.K. Rowling is being sued for stealing ideas from another British author. According to the lawsuit J.K. took parts of Jacobs’ 1987 book The Adventures of Willy the Wizard.

Many experts estimate the lawsuit is “a billion-dollar case”. I hope JK will win the case!

The Four Mauraders and Deductive Reasoning

There are those out there who complain that the film didn't explain who the Four Mauraders (Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs) were, but I say that anyone with any decent deductive reasoning skills could figure out who was who by the end of the movie.

GOF…one of the best HP movies so far.

What do you think? I liked GOF as it kept to the book well but it had a few funny parts to lighten the movie so that the viewers didn't get really sad and depressed watching it. But they didn't over run it with funny parts....

Harry Potter (aka Daniel Radcliffe or vice verse, well, who cares?!) is on the first place in the survey who people think would be the best Valentine’s Day kisser.

Frankly speaking, I was surprised to understand that he is ahead of Johnny Depp and Twilight and New Moon hunk Robert Pattinson.

The percentage is shocking – Daniel pulled got 53 per sent of the vote!

P.S. Brad Pitt is on the 9th place!

Emma Watson seems to make headlines again. This time she was claimed to be Hollywood’s highest-paid actress.

The 19-year-old star tops the list of the highest-paid actors and actresses made by Vanity Fair. Apart from starring in the Harry Potter films, Watson, takes money from adverts for fashion brand Burberry and has created her own line of clothing.

Watson’s Harry Potter co-star, Daniel Radcliffe occupies only the sixth place.

Well, I am impressed. Frankly speaking, to say impressed means to say nothing … I have always known that Emma is a cute and attractive girl, but only now I realize how wild she really is. Her recent photoshoot in Vs magazine is … quite hot and very unexpected.

The photosession was conducted by Ellen von Unwerth for the Vs Magazine SS 2009 issue, and it has been recently released online.

Emma Watson is shown dancing with a man, playing with makeup and a lot of other sexy postures.

According to the official data, UK cinema admissions in 2009 were at their highest level since 2002. Sounds amazing and very promising, don’t you think so? But, who is to blame?

As to me, theatres should thank to such blockbuster movies as Harry Potter, Twilight and Avatar. they were of great help when it came to enticing people back to the cinemas.

Just a couple of words about box-office takings:

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – £50.72m

Avatar – £41.00m

Ice Age III – £35.02m (I love Ice Age. The whole of them).
